Terms & Conditions of Golabatoon- home to events and experiences

Golabatoon- home to events and experiences is a living historic house: a place for making, tasting, discovering and spending time together in small groups. We want every visit to be calm and enjoyable for our guests, the house and those who live here. These terms set out the conditions for booking, visiting and using the services of Golabatoon- home to events and experiences.

1. Booking and confirmation

Submitting a request through the website does not by itself constitute a confirmed booking.

A booking is confirmed only after Golabatoon- home to events and experiences has issued final confirmation and, where required, the relevant payment has been completed.

The programme, date, time, number of guests, price and included services are determined by the information provided to the guest during booking and in the final confirmation.

2. Cancellation, changes and no-shows

A guest may cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the programme. In that case, the amount paid will be refunded.

If the guest cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, no refund will be made.

Failure to attend the programme is not treated as a cancellation and the amount paid is non-refundable.

If Golabatoon- home to events and experiences cancels a programme, the guest may, as applicable, choose either a refund of the amount paid or transfer of that amount to another programme.

3. Arrival time and number of guests

A booking is valid only for the number of people stated in its confirmation.

Additional guests require prior agreement, and Golabatoon- home to events and experiences is not obliged to admit an undeclared additional guest.

Late arrival may shorten the programme and does not necessarily extend its scheduled finishing time.

4. The house and private areas

Golabatoon- home to events and experiences is both a place where experiences are held and a private residence.

Booking a programme does not grant access to the entire property.

Guests may use only the areas made available for their programme and must respect closed doors, private areas, personal belongings, the historic fabric of the house, artworks and equipment.

Intentional damage or damage resulting from unreasonable carelessness may result in the cost of repair or replacement being claimed from the responsible guest.

5. The Salukis of Golabatoon- home to events and experiences

The Salukis are permanent residents of the house.

Guests may see or hear them during a visit, and Golabatoon- home to events and experiences cannot guarantee that every programme will be entirely free from visual or audible contact with the dogs.

Guests with a serious fear of dogs, allergies or another condition for which the presence of the Salukis may be significant must raise this before booking.

Approaching, touching, feeding, provoking, following the Salukis or entering their resting areas without permission is not allowed.

Guests must follow the house's instructions regarding interaction with them and appropriate distance.

6. Food and allergies

Guests must inform Golabatoon- home to events and experiences in advance of any food allergy, dietary restriction or condition that needs to be considered in preparing the programme.

Golabatoon- home to events and experiences will take reasonable steps to accommodate disclosed requirements but, because the kitchen and equipment are shared, cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces of all allergens.

7. Photography and filming

Personal photography is permitted provided that it does not interfere with the privacy of the house or other people.

Photographing or filming private areas, personal belongings or documents, other guests or members of the event team without permission is not allowed.

Professional, commercial or promotional photography or filming, and organised content production at Golabatoon- home to events and experiences, require prior permission.

8. Conduct, safety and house rules

Guests must comply with safety requirements, boundaries of accessible areas and the rules of the house.

Golabatoon- home to events and experiences may end a person's visit in cases including threatening or abusive conduct, serious disturbance, unauthorised entry into private areas, damage to the house or property, mistreatment of the Salukis, or failure to comply with safety requirements or house rules.

9. Circumstances outside reasonable control

A programme may need to be changed or cancelled because of circumstances outside the reasonable control of Golabatoon- home to events and experiences, including emergencies, legal restrictions, serious infrastructure disruption or circumstances materially affecting the safety of the house or the ability to run the programme.

In such cases, an appropriate solution will be coordinated with the guest.

10. Version of the terms

The version of these terms available to the guest when the booking or request was finalised applies to that booking.

Golabatoon- home to events and experiences may amend these terms for future bookings.
